Staying Motivated and Reaching Goals in 2013

 
   With 2012 coming to an end, we all begin to think about what is our  new year resolution for 2013.   For most people, the most common resolution is  to join a gym and lose weight. I have worked in the fitness industry for close 10 years and I see first hand the difficulty people have sticking to their new year resolution. Most people "give up" when resolution begins to challenge, test the limits, or create this overwhelming illusion of defeat and/or fear. By accepting "that fact",  you begin to lose faith in yourself and that to goal begins to seem unattainable. Below is the speech Sylvester Stalone gives in the Rocky movie.  This is one of my favorites because of the powerful and inspirational message.
